Weather-wise, April was a glorious month in London. It was also a fun one: I went on two work trips - one to the Scottish Highlands as part of a forthcoming project, and one to Milan for Miu Miu Literary Club - and enjoyed many sunny days at home with baby girl. World events continue to be devastating and scary, so I’m extra grateful for small, sweet moments that help me ground myself in the present, rather than spinning out about the global status quo. That’s not to advocate for wilful denial of everything happening, but to remind myself (and you) that spiralling changes nothing.
In that spirit, here are some pleasures, discoveries, and recommendations of late.
Wishing you an abundant, uplifting May.
