My guest on the latest episode of Deep Read is Olivia Singer, the fabulous and fierce-minded Global Editorial Director of i-D.

Since getting her start in fashion features at Another magazine, Olivia has risen the ranks of British style media: From Another, she went on to become Fashion News Director under Edward Enninful at British Vogue, before assuming her current title working alongside Alastair McKimm at i-D.
In an extremely noisy media landscape, Olivia possesses a clear, unique voice that manages to rise above the din–and she has a distinct monochromatic uniform to match. I like Olivia because she takes her job seriously but not herself, and because she has intelligent opinions on everything from feminism to fashion resale sites–as you’ll hear in our conversation.
Deep Read can be found on Apple here and Spotify here (or wherever you get your podcasts). Please like, subscribe, and share with a friend who you think might enjoy it.
Thank you for reading,
Phoebe

“Every day a sharp tool, a powerful destroyer, is necessary to cut away dullness, lobotomy, buzzing, belief in human beings, stagnancy, images, and accumulation. As soon as we stop believing in human beings, rather know we are dogs and trees, we'll start to be happy.”
