Who am I?

I’m a writer from London (although I’ve spent most of my adult life living in Los Angeles and New York). I started out as a music and lifestyle journalist, segued to running a business for a bit, and am now back to writing and interviewing full-time. If you’re interested, here’s a more detailed rundown of my working life so far.

What is this?

I’ve been sending out weekly newsletters in various formats for five years now. This latest iteration is an open-ended catalogue of things that I’m reading and thinking about right now.

Why should I subscribe?

Reading has always been how I understand the world and is still the best way I know to get better at living in it. This Public Library is a record of how those two pursuits merge.
